2025

“Unity in Community” in Survivorship: Togetherness at Gallery Station 3510, 3510 Rhode Island Ave, Suite 100, Mt. Rainier, MD. December 13-January 2, 2026

“Joyfulness” and “Enthusiasm” in Finding Joy–Ch/Art member exhibition at the Friendship Heights Village Center, December 7, 2025 through January 31, 2026. ARTIST RECEPTION: Thursday December 11, from 6:30 pm – 8 pm.

The “FALL OF FREEDOM: Freedom of Expression” exhibit is a Women’s Caucus for Art (WCA) national, pop-up, online art exhibition spearheaded by the WCA Art Activism Pod.  

“Contentment,” “Creativity,” and “Consideration” were accepted for Colorburst curated by Debra Wright/The Rogue Art Project on view at The Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center in Fairfax, Virginia. September 2 to December 19.

“Grace” [SOLD] was selected for the Survivorship: Serenity at Gallery B in Bethesda, MD October 9 to November 2.

“Peacefulness 2024” was selected by Lenny Campello for the Women Artists of the DMV at Strathmore Mansion in North Bethesda, MD, one of 20 venues for this massive exhibition, October 4 to November 8.

“Empathy,” was shown in the WCADC Member Exhibition SALON Waverly Street Gallery Bethesda, MD. June 29-July 26.

My acrylic paintings, “New Baby” and “Three Generations of Women, Not Ivory,” were accepted for the Legendary: An Exhibition of Women Artists , May 26 to August 30, 2025. Juried by Debra Wright, this group show is located at Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center, Fairfax, Virginia. 

“Unity” and “Creativity,”  will be on view in the 10th annual Friends of the Yellow Barn Studio Small Works Show in Glen Echo Park Yellow Barn Studio Gallery, Memorial Day Weekend, May 24, 25, 26 

“Self-Avatar Over Time” was selected by juror Samuel Dylan Ewing for the online exhibition Human Expressions 2025: Re-inventing the Portrait through Color, Form, and Composition. Maryland Federation of Art (MFA) April 15 – May 30

My painting, “Three Generations of Women, Not Ivory,” was accepted for the WCADC’s Exhibition Gift of Life, juried by Justyne Fischer.  The exhibition will be  located at Artists & Makers Studios in Rockville, Maryland  March 5-26, 2025

“Unity”  was selected for Expressions of Community juried show at Hera Hub DC,  January 30-May 9, 2025

“Wonder”  [SOLD] was selected for the 53nd Annual Glen Echo Labor Day Weekend Art Show featuring the artwork of more than 400 Mid-Atlantic artists, juried by Amy Kaslow, August 31-September 2.  

 “Virtues Land” was selected for MFA’s Be Square 2024 exhibition at Maryland Hall’s Martino Gallery, Annapolis, Maryland Federation of Art: August 22 – September 25, 2024

“Search” was selected by juror Joren Lindholm for Cycles, a Capitol Hill Art League (CHAL) members-only group show,  CHAW Art Gallery, 545 7th St SE, Washington, DC , July 23-August 23, 2024.

“Virtue Maps” installation in room 4050 Artomatic 2025 March 8-April 28, 2024 2100 M ST NW, Washington, DC   NOTE: Artomatic returned for its signature art event, drawing hundreds of artists and performers from throughout the D.C., Maryland and Virginia area for a seven-week free exhibition to celebrate the arts!

“Search, 2022″ was selected for MFA’s Mind Mapping 2024 by juror Lisa Murphy. Out of 266 total entries by 97 artists, I was one of 59 artists selected for this online exhibition, Maryland Federation of Art, April 15, 2024 – May 31, 2024.

 Awarded JONS Artist in Residency for the fourth quarter of 2023 by Journal of Oncology Navigation and Survivorship — 3 of my artworks “Empathy,” “Hope,” and “Serenity” are featured on the online art gallery and will be published in journals October, November, and December 2023.
